It is a non-stop rave fest for Little Women. You have all read how critics and famous people have expressed their positive views, reviews and gratitude for Greta Gerwig's new adaptation of the acclaimed novel. But they are not the only ones. Readers all over the world have come back to the source material, aka the Louisa May Alcott's original book. We have found raves in languages in which we didn't know the book was even published. Silly us! The book is everywhere!

I finished my re read of Little Women. I am so glad I read this again as an adult. I took away so much more this time around. Such a powerful and still relevant novel. I have such admiration for women like Alcott and Austen- women who wrote about themes far from the norm of their era. . The newest thing I took away from reading it this time around is the support of women by women- whether in your family or not, women should build one another up and celebrate victories without the imaginary expectations that society says we should be bitter to each other’s accomplishments. . I also salute Alcott with her rebel determination to state women are not just made for relationships and to marry. Life fulfillment is what each woman makes it. . I wish I did a re read of this during my college years.
